As the title says, I'm in my 30s. I'm fairly happy with my life but can't help but feel a void. I'm looking for real, genuine connections. I want deep conversations, mutual support, care, concern, warmth, etc.
Work: I'm an engineer in the games industry and maintain a few open-source projects I care deeply about. I tend to prefer startups and smaller passion projects. I've built a career I'm proud of and make a good, comfortable living, but I'm not what one would call "work focused" ..
Play: I'm happiest outdoors, on my bike, omw to a campsite. I love to paint, draw, write, and otherwise make things. I just don't feel at peace if I go too long without making something with my mind or my hands. Otherwise I love to read (memoirs, horror, fantasy), listen to music (all over the place), and could talk about my favorite movies all night (Interstellar, US, About Time, lots more).
I have no expectation of you beyond that you're kind and considerate. I'd like to tell jokes/share memes and get lost in conversation in equal measure.
