Hi redditors

I'm new to Seattle - moved here 4 weeks ago to start a job at UW.

I am an over educated liberal who like to talk politics as much as I like to watch sport.
I consider myself philosophical - I enjoy asking the question what if - just to see where it leads. That's kinda why I'm posting - what if someone interesting responds.

I don't feel you can ever get to know anyone over the internet - we all curate ourselves too much these days. So i'm really looking for people who want to meet in person.

Please please please restore my faith in the internet - almost every post i have replied to has ended up being some content creator in another city trying to get subscribers. That's not my thing - i'm looking for real conversations not transacted ones.

I have a type: human - so just be yourself and maybe you could show me around this town!
