Hi there - I'm a 44yo woman living in Western WA (Seattle and North) looking for connections. I'm looking for local people who would like to hang out in person. I am open to a range of connections, but ALL of them must be grounded in compatibility and friendship. I am not interested in sex only connections.
I'm a fat, fun, neurospicy (ADHD) weirdo who cares about kindness, authenticity, altruism, critical thinking, connection, equity, and understanding. I have many introverted friends, but would especially like to be able to connect with someone whose energy matches mine a little more closely. I'm still a bit of a homebody, but I get my energy through connection with others and like to get out fairly often.
I'm not just looking for short-term dopamine hit connections, I have made friends on here that have lasted years, and that's ultimately what I'm looking for, forever people. But not everyone will match with me that way, and that's fine too. We'll figure it out. I want to meet weird, progressive, caring people who like to have someone to connect with. I'm looking for people who fit me well and who I fit well with.
You should be between 30-47, as this is the age group I most often have the most in common with. I connect well with other weirdos. I love when people can share what they love with me and also listen to and appreciate things that I'm into. I am physically attracted to a range of people - it's not that attraction isn't important, but it's very idiosyncratic, I don't have a "type" or anything - I'm attracted to people of different genders, skin colors, weights, nationalities, etc. I love when people are unique and special. Please be yourself, I bet you're great as you are. (Bonuses to German speakers and/or Danes)
Things of note: I'm non-religious, fat, progressive, underemployed, direct, and nerdy. You don't have to match with me exactly, but we have to be compatible enough on these things to not drive one another nuts and/or to be attracted to each other.
I will not respond to people who don't respond thoughtfully to me sharing myself by sharing some details about themselves also. It doesn't have to be lengthy, or witty just genuine. You can just tell me a few lines and then ask me about my day if you want, but I need to hear a bit about you. Age, location, what you connected to in my post, etc.
I take the time to read through and reply to people one at a time. I have room in my life for more than one friend, but can only balance getting to know 1-2 people at a time, so there may be a delay in my reply. I will respond to people even months later though, so if you see this and are intrigued, feel free to tell me about yourself. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and hopefully we'll speak soon.
