A few years ago I sold my home of 22 years, and I so miss the perfect tub in that house. I used to share it with friends so they could enjoy solitude and soaking in such splendor.
Long and deep enough to submerge, plenty of hot water, no jets, comfortable and contoured to support the arms and neck, clean, surrounded with candlelight, a window for gazing into the trees.
The clawfoot tubs at Breitenbush are my best solution, and a 4 hour round trip for a soak is too far. The clawfoots at Everett are cold plunges, Blue Star are sweet clawfoots, but fully booked and not the contouring I crave. Not so much interested in community waters. Iām aiming for that perfect modern tub.
Redditors of pdx, can you help me find such a little sanctuary?
