Hey, Reddit! I’m currently a student at Clark College, living in Vancouver, gearing up to transfer to Washington State University for Data Analytics next term. I left the Navy about a year ago and moved here from San Diego. The whole experience was an eye-opener, and it shaped some of my perspectives, but it’s just one chapter in my story.
I’ve got a pretty big interest in science and tech, with a particular focus on AI. Mental health awareness is something I’m really passionate about – it’s been a significant part of my journey.
In terms of hobbies, I’m into Dota 2 and catching the latest in sci-fi and anime. I’m not much into music these days – it’s something I’m figuring out in relation to my mental health. Living in the Vancouver/Portland area without a car, I’m pretty rooted in the local scene.
I’m looking to connect with someone around my age who shares some common ground – someone with ambitions, who understands the importance of personal growth, and who is open to learning new things, like financial literacy.
I’m all about learning from life’s experiences, and I try to approach things with an open mind. I’ve mingled with diverse groups of people and worked in various environments, which has given me a unique perspective on life. I believe in understanding people’s actions as a part of their story, and I try to approach situations without bias.
I'm not really into materialistic lifestyles. I’m more about a healthier, more meaningful way of living. If you’re someone who embraces change and enjoys deep, thoughtful conversations, we might click.
So, if you’re up for chatting, maybe exploring some new experiences together, and you don’t mind someone who’s a thinker, feel free to reach out. Let’s see where this conversation takes us!
