I'm a ride-or-die dude and fascinatingly weird, but you wouldn't know it to look at me. I could pass for an Abercrombie or gap model, well, maybe if you hit me in the face with a shovel a few times and gave me a lobotomy. I kid, I'm easy on the eyes, or so I'm told. And I know not all the Zoolanders are stupid. Truth be told, I try not to subscribe to that kind of black and white thinking. Because every Star Wars fan knows, only a Sith believes in absolutes. Which is why I think I'm politically homeless. Or religiously committed to a myopic world view. I can't help but think this is a big part of why I'm single; These days everyone is so loud, reactionary, and algorithmic in their thinking. That's just not me. And sadly, I think my cool, calm, rational vibe is off-putting to some. Oh, and I am pansexual; I've met a lot of women who cannot handle that. I shall go into further detail on that topic. But let's get the prototypical dating stuff out on the table.
I'm 511". Work out when I can, jog when I can. A devoted friend, a big kid with an old soul and an even bigger heart. Happily single and in no rush. Professionally, I love what I do; I split my time as a marketing consultant but will soon begin to pull back from that so I can focus on the feature film I am currently developing. I have a few other successful and creative pursuits along with the film. I hope to give up consulting in about six months to a year; it doesn't bring me joy anymore. I'm a storyteller and an artist. That is where I find a lot of meaning and purpose. Creating something that may inform or move someone.
I'm a culture vulture and cinephile; I have a deep passion for a diverse mix of film, music, literature, comic books, and graphic novels! I love good fiction in all its forms. And I'm a giant nerd! Music-wise, my playlists consist of everything from Queens of The Stone Age to the Runaways, Wu-Tang Clan to the Ramones, and Fleetwood Mac. If it sounds good, and I can feel the artist behind it, it'll appeal to me. Did that sound pretentious and snobbish? To say I'm opinionated about film, TV, or music. It would be the understatement of the century. Not that I can't appreciate someone else's tastes, I certainly can; I'd love to meet someone who could introduce me to something extraordinary and life-changing.
I love good food, good drink, and good conversation. I want to travel more, but I think I might be waiting for the right travel companion. I'm not vegan or vegetarian; I still eat meat. But I do make a concerted effort to eat a lot of plant-based food, mostly breakfast and lunches, and lots of smoothies!
So, now we get to the fun part. What turns me on? Like I said, I'm pansexual; I've been with women, men, and transwomen. I'm only romantically attracted to women and transwomen; men, it's just a once-in-a-while thing. Now, I want to be upfront that I am just not interested in anyone who wants to explore polyamory. That's not my idea of fun or the hot wife stuff. However, I am 100% on board with a woman or trans woman that wants to swing once our relationship is on a sure footing and we both feel comfortable with it. And I don't get jealous; it turns me on to see my partner with others, doesn't matter if their swing partner is male, female, or whatever. I just like to see the person I love happy and wracked with bliss.
What type of partner am I looking for? Well, women or transwomen (pre-op) with no children, and someone under the age of 32, but no younger than 23, unless you are mature. I'm happy to share photos if you are. I would prefer someone who actively looks after their body, eats well, and cares about nutrition. Personality-wise, you are warm, nurturing, caring, and fiercely independent. I love a woman who speaks her mind. Has her own life, own hobbies, OH! I love entrepreneurs. I always pictured starting a small business with my partner someday. Be intelligent, challenge me intellectually, professionally, and ideologically, and inform my worldview. Make me a better man every day just by being you. But be self-aware to know when you are wrong because we are all fallible. I don't do that happy spouse, happy house crap. Or the woman is always right. That stuff is for people who lie to themselves. And that is not me, and hopefully, that isn't you.
If you have gotten this far, thank you for taking the time to get to know me. However, this is where I might lose you. I'm not a big believer in marriage; I don't like the idea that I need a piece of paper, rings, or formal ceremonies to prove I love someone. I honestly see marriage as no more than a safety net; A lot of the time, when people get married, they take each other for granted. Letting themselves go, they stop being kind, they stop being thoughtful, and they stop being their best self. Because they know how objectionable the idea of divorce is to all of humanity, so they take advantage of that. They know their partner won't even mention it unless it's a last resort. And many people are more than comfortable dancing right up to the line and walking it like a tight rope. I would never want someone to stay with me if they no longer loved me or if their life wasn't better for them with me in it.
If you made it this far, I'd love to talk to you.
