36/M looking to meet to date. Ideally I'm seeking something long term, but someone once caused me to ask: do we ever know for sure who or what we're going to meet?
Maybe we can find the moment to decide.
Loves: shows, paper and card games (I recently started to pick up Euchre), comedy, and events/festivals. I'm happy to share ideas and I'm pretty easy about checking out new kinds of entertainment. Sometimes staying at home and sharing a story, poem, or book with someone is fun.
I also love Toronto a lot and sometimes enjoy ROM Walks, or else just going to events. I don't consider myself a museum nerd, but I do have memberships for the ROM and AGO because on some rainy days they're fun to get lost in, and they beat getting wet.
Hates: Early winter nights. But that needn't be so bad; there are a ton of awesome light shows and events. There's something charming about the Christmas Market at night, sipping on a warm apple cider, and being surrounded by mistletoe, listening to carolers, and watching people dance on the cobblestone, hand in hand. It's a simple pleasure, but it's fun.
This week's Big Accomplishment: I brought a Gluten Free lasagna to my brother's place, who discovered recently that he had problems with wheat. I've never made lasagna, but it seemed like something fun to try. It was alright; I'll change how I do the noodles next time. He was delighted, and I'm pretty damn proud :)
Prefers: casual gamers, event buddies, a little space and independence for each of us, but, eventually, a sense of excitement knowing that we might end and begin the day together.
Powerful words? Don't sweat it. My goals are wishes that I want to achieve, but reality is that we build these things through discovering what we want and what we can do to get those things. So feel free to respond and maybe we can discover something together that needn't be perfect for others, but perfect for ourselves.
