Maybe it's just me, but I find the whole dating app experience totally unfulfilling. Perhaps I've outgrown these platforms (I doubt 40 is the core demographic), but between the unrealistic expectations, misleading behaviour, and ghosting, maintaining any kind of conversation with anyone is exhausting.
Is Reddit any better?
For context, I'm relatively new to the online dating scene. I'm also not located in the city (I'm 45 minutes north) and ideally, I'd prefer to meet someone local-ish (although, I do drive and I don't mind a bit of a commute for the right connection).
I'm tall (6'3") and handsome, I have a great career, and I take care of myself. I'm looking for something meaningful with one person – perhaps I'll have better luck here than I've had elsewhere?
Fingers crossed!
