Hi there! You've caught a nerdy introverted soft boy in the wild seeking a monogamous long term relationship. Dating apps kinda suck and I usually chat with more genuine people on subreddits like these so here I am. I'm Scott, a 26 year old guy in the GTA (durham region). Main Hobbies: Game Development, Gaming, Watching TV Shows/Anime/Movies, Reading Manga

Hobbies are super important for a relationship connection to develop for me. As you can see mine are just nerd things™ as the post title might imply. At the risk of sounding like a typical redditor nerd here I want someone who would either call themselves a gamer, an animation lover, a frequent enjoyer of anime/manga, or all of the above? ;)

Obviously we don't need to be one to one with everything and should introduce different stuff to each other, but for a strong connection I need a strong interest overlap. Quality time is perhaps my most important love language. ♥ I'd also be open to other hobbies including outdoor things like hiking amidst the nerdy stuff.

TV Shows:

I love any kind of show that's story driven with a healthy mix of drama and comedy (aka a dramedy). I gravitate towards animation more as the past decade seems to have a lot more serialized stuff that older people can enjoy. Of course I can enjoy live action stuff out there as well.

I game a good bit on Switch or PC with a variety of games (I particularly like platformers, action adventure, sandbox games, and jrpgs). I enjoy like 90% of Nintendo games out there so if you happen to be into any of those, there's a good chance I will too. Sometimes I develop games for fun too such as a work in progress roguelike 3D platformer.

• MMOs: Don't play them much anymore but as a kid I played a lot of Toontown, Roblox, Spiral Knights, Runescape, etc. (I wouldn't mind someone helping me get into FF XIV)

Anime / Manga:

I've seen a good bit of shonen anime and a tiny bit of other stuff. Hunter x Hunter would be my favourite. Currently I'm also reading the One Piece manga.

There's plenty of other stuff out there I want to check out at some point like Berserk, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, or Naruto. I listed a lot of the typical shoneny fighting based stuff here but I wouldn't mind something different if anyone's got some suggestions.

• Movies: A lot of Pixar, Terminator, Alien, Blade Runner, Star Wars, a tiny bit of Marvel & DC

Other Important Compatibility Things

Pets: I think I'm more a cat person. My family has 3 lovely black cats, though we also used to have 2 cute dogs, so doggos can be great too.

No Kids: I don't want kids. Child free life all the way.

Libido: I think I got a slight below average libido, partially due to pelvic floor reasons. Specific things can up it but overall I'm a bit more for the soft intimate cuddling and romantic stuff. Just saying it here in case you're a person who has a high libido.

Location: Ontario, Canada

I got zero plans to ever leave Canada. Unless we happen to be close by, semi long distance is fine if we do stuff virtually and eventually meetup from time to time.
