To all those unfortunate souls that have stumbled across Reddit on New Year's, I hope you're having a great day and here's a bit about me.

Me: Melbourne born and raised (but recently returned to Melb), ABC, accent varies from bogan to pretentious, healthcare professional (and sadly associated burnout/humour), someone who loves finding hidden food spots to try, enjoys long walks, random activities and brunch and thinks a spontaneous weekend getaway trip is potentially a very fun thing to do! May also have a slight obsession with Polo Ralph teddy bear clothes…

What I’m looking for: Someone around a similar-ish age to get to know. Let’s start as friends and go from there. You may just be bored or looking for a distraction because life is sometimes a bit rough and crappy (don’t worry, we can trauma dump together). Maybe you’re in a 9-5 corporate job, or sick of shift work and just wanting someone to share some laughs and memes with or needing to de-stress and vent! Please be hygienic and look after yourself if you are interested in potentially pursuing more (of course this is applicable to both sides), but absolutely no pressure. Just be honest with what you’re looking for.

What I offer: A normal guy who has decent conversational skills, and is probably somewhat intelligent, who will treat you with respect (customer service/manner is on point iykyk 👌🏻) and yes that includes irl too if we do decide to ever hang out. If you want to rant, sure, happy to listen. If you want a meme buddy to send reels too; let’s see who’s more of a passive scroller. If you want someone to go on walks, get some exercise in, keep each other accountable, explore new hobbies together (some random sport?), go to markets with, maybe karaoke etc I may be your guy. Disclaimer: I’m not a huge drinker (only a drink once in a blue moon) and don’t smoke/do drugs.
