Film comes out this Thursday.
About me: I'm a pretty big cinephile (I know I'm sorry) and I usually go to see movies by myself and I'm pretry comfortable with that even though some people probably think that's strange. Big blockbusters I usually see with friends or family but most movies I just see myself because I know something like Love Lies Bleeding for example won't really interest most people I know lol. Physically I'm white, 6ft, normal build, not chubby or very muscular, just a pretty normal looking guy all round. I'm also a bit shy and have mild social anxiety.
What I'm looking for: I'm really hoping to see Challengers because I'm a fan of the director but I think seeing this one alone would probably feel kinda strange for me. I assume it's going to attract young couples and I think seeing it alone as a guy might make me stand out in the crowd and I'd just end up feeling insecure. I'm hoping to see it with someone else where we can just blend in with everyone elsw and not look like the odd one out. So I guess if you're also in a similar spot of being excited for this movie but don't have anyone to see it with, I can hopefully fill that void. Hoping to see it somewhere in Melbourne CBD or Geelong somewhere from this Thursday to Sunday. Probably late afternoon but nearly anytime works.
What I offer: I'm good to pay for both our tickets and drinks/popcorn if you want. I'm not expecting much to come from it afterwards or to pursue anything romantically. If we get along really well then maybe we could stay in touch see something again sometime, but it's also perfectly fine if we just see this one film and that's that.
Anyway, I hope this isn't a super sad request that hurt too bad to read.
