With this year coming to a close rather quickly than expected, so is the fun chapter of my twenties. With the big 30 approaching, I've been spending a lot of time reflecting on the past decade, the person who I was at the start of it, and the person who I am continuing to work towards becoming. Slowing down to look at how we grow as individuals is a tremendous experience, and it is one that I want to share with my forever person.

Unfortunately, dating apps feel... a bit dry? It always feels I'm having the same discussions that are one line answers. I love talking, I love getting to know peoples stories. I want to talk to people who are invested in the conversation - not talking to multiple people at once, so I want to try something new!

Sooo about this soon to be grandpa*: I'm your average nerdy wog guy. I'm 6'1, I grow way more hair on my face than I can grow on my head, resulting in shaving the dome, and growing a (short but) luscious beard.

I absolutely love my coffee to an obnoxious level, very typical of an Italian born and raised in Melbourne. Big into pop culture and games, basically grew up playing Pokemon, Sonic, Mario, all that jazz. Love my soccer, less so waking up at 2AM to watch it. I'm often spending my free time exploring the hundreds of incredible cafes and restaurants Melbourne has to offer, going for a run, playing games, getting better at Chess, building a bit of Lego, catching up with friends and family, or, to be completely honest, scrolling through cat videos on my phone while half paying attention to a show or movie I've chucked on.

Outside of that, I absolutely love to travel, be it road trips or flights! Last year I took the leap to quit my job and turn a side hustle into a fulltime gig, and am now self employed with the amazing opportunity to travel pretty frequently for it. The stress pays itself off!

On a personality level, I'd like to describe myself as honest, loyal, caring, genuine, and sometimes hopelessly optimistic. I'm an open communicator and have no qualms voicing my feelings and thoughts (without being an asshole obvs). For me, building those up around me is key, and I'll do everything I can if it means helping a loved one. I am a bit of a joker, I prefer looking at the lighter side of things when possible. I can't say no to a late night mcflurry run (or better yet, drive to messina or piccolina), even on a cold night.

I am hoping that somewhere out there is a kind and communicative person. Someone who loves a road trip to no where in particular, as well as cuddle up movie nights. To explore all of life's ups and downs with. Someone who is emotionally available (or at least working on it!), passionate about their interests, and is always open for a bit of banter.

Oh and the other random little tidbits: Despite thinking I was a dog person my whole life, I have a rescue cat (and her sister, it's a long story but cute), love language is touch and words, I prefer voice calls and messages over text, I was raised on PS1, cheeztv, simpsons, and WWF. I had that one carpet with the roads and buildings while growing up. You know the one if you grew up in the 90s. I own an oodie, and it is honestly my favourite thing in my wardrobe.
