Hello R4r Melbourne,

It has been a while since I made a post looking to meet new people and the last time I did, I think I liked the idea more than the reality - I really didn't have the time to meet new people in person with the life shit going on post covid, even though I really wanted connection.

Well, LUCKY YOU LOT, I'm fresh out of a holiday which kind of rebooted me and I'm in a good place to meet and develop new friendships. I do have an existing friend group who are absolutely awesome, as busy individuals though, I'm finding myself doing more and more alone as these lovely humans aren't available.

About me

• 33F, Married, Queer, open/poly but not looking for dates
• I work 10 hr days typically, and have a day off during the week.
• I am active and enjoy hiking, climbing, running, gym and pretty much will try most things. I'm open to joining a sports team . I've just come out of a period of recovery and am happy to be back into it, although my fitness isn't what it once was.
• I love music, predominantly EDM mostly chillout. I do enjoy going to gigs and overall have pretty eclectic taste, so I'll probably be up for something even if I've only just googled them if I like the initial sounds.

• Video games - I like the rest of the gaming population at large, have been playing Baldurs Gate 3, I also started Remnant 2. I play ARAM (only) in LoL, as I don't have myself enough to play summoner's rift.
• I do like photography and wouldn't mind someone who likes the same - I'd like to learn to take nice portraits and get some too as I am chronically awkward in photos.
• I consider myself to be very left leaning. I used to enjoy political discourse but really can't in the current climate. That being said, if you identify as right wing, apolitical or "moderate" we probably don't share the same values.
• I don't use instagram, FB or other forms of social media bar reddit and don't intend to.
• I like to read and listen to audio books, I'll usually have a fiction and non-fiction on the go at the same time.
• I am Vegan. I don't mind if you aren't (if you are that is a bonus). For the connection, this means that if we go to a cafe and you order non-vegan, I won't be paying or splitting 50/50, I'll just pay for my own :)
• I like to paint, play music (taught myself sax recently) and generally do crafty things if the mood strikes.
• I like plants.
• I am not religious
• I think I am a considerate, compassionate and understanding person.
• If I have a problem or am hurt, I will speak directly to you about this - and expect the same. I don't do passive aggression. We are adults :)

About you

• Not bigoted , no Nazis (weird qualifier in 2023)
• Can hold a conversation
• over 25
• No antivaxx, conspiracy theorists, facebook mums etc you know the type
• Have your mental health under control/know how to get it under control.
• Can articulate your thoughts, feelings, desires, expectations, at least to an extent
• Are willing to come up with ideas for hangs and things to do - I'm sick of pulling all the administrative weight in my relationships

I don't think this is a huge list of qualifiers but you never know!

Typically if we vibe in chats, we vibe in person so don't expect to meet after a few messages, that is whack. Id be happy to play video games or vibe on discord chat when my voice is better (have throat infection currently).
