About me: Asian, curvy (or plus size), 5"5, black hair but held up to the light it's dark brown.

I work in social services, super passionate about social issues and social justice (anything from gender inequality to young people. Took me a long time to admit that I am consumed by my work. All my hobbies and things I do in my free time are basically work and now I'm burning out 😞 (totally my fault though)

I'd like someone who can help me remind me what's it like to just not thing about work and have fun or escape in a good conversation. I'm a sucker for a great conversation. Not sure if I'm looking to meet up in person, but we can cross that bridge once we get to it. Although I like to be intellectually challenged, I don't vibe with racists, sexists etc (I don't have the time or emotional capacity to deal with them).

I would say I'm quite knowledgable on a wide range of topics. I can almost talk about anything due to the nature of my work,. I listen to a broad range of genres but am very picky about who I listen to (currently listening to Nothing But Thieves but currently obsessed with disco Salsoul Orchestra). I still have an iPod and will fight you that it's better than Spotify. I've been told often by my friends that I have a unique sense of humour. Since Christmas has recently passed, my favourite Christmas movie is diehard. Really like British crime tv shows (Shetland and Line of Duty are my fav). I read but my reading tastes, are a lot more narrower, I mainly read non-fiction and romance novels as a form of escapism. I guess I see myself as a genuine e person, I'm quite honest (which is a double sword) so I have no filter at times. I am self deprecating, and can probably give you a shopping list of flaws that I see in myself, but I am proud of where I am now and how I got here.

What I can offer: A good conversation and a quirky sense of humour. Can rant about the current state of capitalist society forces people to become workaholics but preach "work life balance" so we can earn money to stay alive ✌️ ✌️ If you think we share the same values, loved to hear from you.
