I'll be visiting Tokyo to visit friends and do a bit of sightseeing in early May. I thought it would be fun to meet someone who lives there to show me around your favorite places! What are hidden gems for a foodie, a place that tourists can't or won't go by themselves, your favorite refuge from the hustle and bustle??
About me: Asian American guy, 37, love reading, traveling, trying new food and wines, will try anything not flagrantly illegal once! I'm 5'9", in good shape for any outdoor recommendations, DDF, can be introverted at first but can quickly become ebullient around the right people.
You: a local or expat living in Tokyo, takes decent care of yourself, has fun recommendations. I will stay in a hotel room, and will gladly treat you to any of your recommendations!
Since my trip is still not for a few months, I'm happy to chat online first to see if we click before meeting!
