Hello, I’m Somni, a 26 year old genderfluid Kirin/Qilin (Chinese unicorn) who is seeking friends and possibly a relationship (I’m pansexual, so all genders and identities welcome). I am an American expat currently living in Portugal, and I’m unfortunately not very good with the language, so most of my friends are currently online, and I am looking to find a few more if possible. I’m happy to talk to people from anywhere, but closer time zones are preferred since it would make it easier to talk.

I am also looking to, hopefully, find a serious relationship; don’t know if Reddit is the best place to do it, but might as well try! Due to my location, and the current situation with COVID, I’m content with settling for a long distance relationship as long as it has the potential to eventually turn into something IRL. I’m willing to relocate to most European countries or move back to the U.S. sometime in the future, but only if the relationship is quite serious.

Now, a few things about me. I have a Master’s degree in History and am about to start my first semester teaching at a university, though it is online and I am currently not full-time. Hobbies include writing, listening to and playing music (mainly varieties of heavy metal), watching movies, casual gaming, and esotericism. I start off shy, and take quite a while to be up for something like voice chatting, but once I open up I can talk for great lengths of time unless I’m stopped. Finally, I’m not really a big fan of RP, and I don’t generally appreciate it when people start conversations out sexually, I prefer people who take their time with it so that it’s more meaningful.
