Hello, I’m Somni, a Kirin/Qilin (Chinese unicorn) who is seeking some friends or a polyamorous relationship. I am an American expat currently living in Portugal, and I’m unfortunately not very good with the language, so most of my friends are currently online, and I am looking to find a few more if possible, and possibly someone else to love.

While I am single and potentially interested in a relationship (long distance is perfectly fine), I am not so keen on rushing into anything, and would greatly prefer being friends for awhile first before anything serious begins. I’m also looking for someone who shares at least a few of my general interests (listed below!). I am poly, and have a couple of mates already, but I am hoping to find someone else and perhaps even build a cute little furry polycule! Finally, it would be great if you were either spiritually minded or, if not, at least tolerant of my eclectic belief system, since I try to engage with it fairly regularly. For the record, I consider myself a neopagan with influences from many different areas, and although I never attempt to convert anyone or anything like that, I can also easily get annoyed by people who poke fun at or otherwise denigrate my spiritual ideas. Likewise, if you enjoy talking about things like metaphysics, philosophy, religions, and similar topics, I’d love to chat with you about it!

A few additional things about me. I have a Master’s degree in History and work as an online professor at a university. I love writing, listening to and playing music (mainly varieties of heavy metal), watching movies, some casual gaming, and esotericism/occultism/spirituality. I start off shy, and take quite a while to be up for something like voice chatting, but once I open up I can talk for great lengths of time about my areas of interest. I also enjoy hearing about other peoples’ interests and hobbies, though I am not always that knowledgeable about other things. I will try my best to keep up, however!

I am pansexual, and happy to take things into lewder territory if I am prodded in that direction, though I do not generally bring it up myself. I am a switch, though I tend to lean heavily towards submissiveness most of the time, and my biggest priority is always pleasing whoever I am with. I also have a lot of kinks, but I’m not gonna divulge them all right away! Where’s the fun in that? In terms of a potential relationship, I would obviously look for someone who is onboard with the polyamorous lifestyle and not afraid to share with others, but don’t think that I would prioritize any of my mates over another! I try as hard as I can to attend to everyone equally.
