I’m not a great runner. A younger pair of legs alongside would do wonders to help push my pace. Yeah, of course I could find another guy to run with. Obviously. But here’s my thinking…
Why can't those younger legs belong to a cute 20-something girl? And if her legs are cute, the rest is probably cute too. And if I’m out jogging with a cute younger woman, why shouldn’t it be flirty and fun? It only makes logical sense. The maths math. So, you have a boyfriend…well of course you do! I’m sure he’s a great guy. If so, you should stay with him. Are you going to tell him you’re meeting up to jog with an older married man? You can if you want. Or don’t. Personally, I’m not saying a word a word to anyone. Am I wrong for that? Yes I am. Farewell sweet innocence, although that ship sailed long ago. Anyway, we’re just running. Any flirting is a side effect. Because, you know... we both like the age gap. It feels risqué and that alone may cause flirtation. And discretion only makes it more risqué. But neither of us is trying to get up into the other person’s life. We just have an exercise routine that we tend to not fully disclose to others. And it will probably never go any further. Because I’m not tempting you and you’re not tempting me…even if you happen to be five yards in front of me running uphill. I cannot help but appreciate what I see, but we’re just running. Always in a public area, within a set time frame, because there should be no worrying about creepy shit. This is about staying in shape and improving our 5k time and knowing our paces and stuff like that. Right? Let’s stay focused on the task at hand. Running. Not flirting. But probably flirting. But most importantly, running.
