It's me, hi (if you get that reference, then we are off to a good start).
I am a 31 year old childfree (do not have and do not want kids) woman living in the prairies. Yes, it does suck as much as you would expect, but some people really do love it here. I am just not necessarily one of them. Sometimes, I think this province is way too conservative and that I will never find my progressive childfree man. I have thought about moving, and I am definitely open to it, but it would have to be within Canada.
Anyway, about me. I have a professional career that I went to school for 6 years for. It is objectively a good job, but if I could find another job that paid as well, I would leave. I am looking for someone who has a good career. What this means to me is employed full time and ideally in a career that requires at least some post-secondary education.
Okay, I am just going to start listing random things now:
- I am financially independent
- I love movies, especially horrors. No, I do not really have a favourite.
- I have a cat! I used to own a dog, but he passed away in 2020. I do not think I would get another dog as they are actually a lot of work, haha.
- I would say I have a very dry and sarcastic humour (think Arrested Development). I need someone who can banter back and forth, otherwise, I get pretty bored. Bantering and having fun (as much as you can online haha) helps create chemistry
- I have the ability to travel to other provinces to meet. I just got back from Toronto a week ago, and I plan on going again in a month or two.
- I think talking online for too long creates a false sense of intimacy. Let's exchange pics and get on the phone right away. Let's TALK.
- I am childfree and you must be too. I am not willing to have kids. Ever.
- I want a monogamous relationship
- I like to swim but do not do it often enough. I also like to read.
Looking for someone in Canada between the ages of 28-37.
