Never have used Reddit but here goes. 33m in Edmonton, AB. Have my life together, don't smoke/don't drink and don't do drugs. Have glasses, handful of arm and shoulder tattoos. 5'11 235lbs, caucasian, green eyes, scruffy facial hair, west German and Austrian ancestry. My father immigrated from Germany and passed away 11 years ago, a good chunk of my family lives in Germany/Denmark but I don't often see them in person and family on my mothers side lives here and i'm close with them but I don't have alot of family in general. Only child as well. I'm fairly introverted but have a couple of friends I see every week or 2 to hang out. I was a Journeyman Redseal mechanic for 10 years but currently work within law enforcement and still do mechanic work on the side for fun. For hobbies I do mechanic work in my spare time and specialize in Japanese JDM imports and have a fully built 500hp Toyota car. I still play Nintendo 64 and mess around with emulators online etc as well and love seeing old movies at Metro cinema by Strathcona. Purchasing the home I grew up in next year and doing my own renovations/repairs on it as well. I was in above average shape when I was a mechanic due to the labour intensity of the job but now I would say i'm average shape and have been trying to get more active lately as well. Family, friends and ex girlfriend have described me as quiet/stoic but extremely caring and loyal. To my ex girlfriends dismay I spent over 2 hours in a Crappy tire parking lot helping a stranger get their truck going again so they could get back home out of town with nothing more than a handshake in the end lol. I've done a fair bit of volunteer work as well including 5 years with Big Brothers Canada as I 100% want kid(s) but my ex girlfriend did not want kids at all and that was the only way I could work with and mentor kids.

I have only 2 local friends I really hang out with and it's usually every week or 2 for dinner or to go to Metro Cinema, but with my work schedule (4 on 4 off 12hr shifts) I have far much more time off than them. I got out of a longterm relationship earlier this year which was a mutual breakup. I'm not looking to get into a fullblown relationship again right away, but definitely open to female friends/dating and if it leads to something more i'm all for it and would have no issue with advancing to a relationship potentially down the line.

Preference would go to a introverted/quiet/shy female and hopefully someone that at least has some mutual hobbies. I'm on the quieter side and have been described as stoic with my emotions which works extremely well at my line of work but my ex was open she found it a bit tough that I was so introverted and never showed much emotion vs her being loud and outgoing.
