I am a former social worker by trade, and am in the midst of a change but still with the goal of helping people, which is my life's mission. I am also a passionate musician and am forming a gigging band. Outside of those endeavours, I love to spend time with my family and friends and talk about life. A good day for me might involve spending time in an interesting place (I often find the city too crowded for my tastes, but I enjoy spending time in the suburbs and in the tranquility of nature), enjoying good food (I have a sweet tooth!), or accomplishing something creatively (either with my art, or with home improvement, which I also love). I also have an extremely wild and whacky sense of humour, and challenge you to be weirder than me! I am approximately 5'10" tall, slim and moderately built, have Mediterranean features, and have extremely short dark hair and brown eyes.

I am seeking a long-term and monogamous relationship. I have already decided that I want to remain child-free and live separately from my partner, but do not let that lead you to believe that I am not devoted. I believe having our respective independence allows us to fully enjoy our relationship without the constraints of mutual interdependence. Physical attraction and romantic chemistry are important, but I value first and foremost mutual respect, and the devotion to nurturing each other emotionally, communicating honestly, and working together to overcome the challenges. Your feelings will be important to me, and I value your wellbeing. I am asexual or a celibate, depending on how you view these matters, but I would prefer to discuss this in private as discussing it here could lead me in to not-safe-for-work territory. That said, I love intimacy, and physical touch and words of affirmation are my love language. I have also been told I am incredibly gentle in this regard.
