Good afternoon women of 'r4r50plus.'

So, I read and comment a bit on various Reddit subs and thought I would give this a try here. One never knows who might be out there, right? I will try and be a bit detailed in this because no sense in wasting anyone's time or my own. If anyone has an interest just send me a message rather than a comment on my post.

I am 63 almost 64, white, hetero, and monogamy-oriented. I was married 33 years, have been widowed about two and a half, and have one adult daughter who is happily married and on her own. I'm a fully retired LEO with a secure income, comfortably middle class, and live a zero-debt lifestyle. I'm also a 4 yr active duty veteran, honorably discharged.

I have a home in the Pensacola area I consider my "home-base" but spend only about half of my time there with the other half near Knoxville TN where my daughter lives (when I'm not travelling elsewhere)

I'm 6'1, 160-ish with a fit/trim build. Full head of somewhat short hair and clean shaven at present, but I have worn pony-tail length hair at various times in my life and also sported a beard or goatee. No tattoos, but I'm not averse to them others so long as well done. I have no disabilities, chronic conditions, or regular meds I have to take. My teeth are in pretty good shape, but not perfect and I do have to stay on top of my dental hygiene. I also maintain good bodily hygiene in the other usual respects. Vis-vis bedroom activities ;) ... well suffice it to say I have a healthy libido, everything works fine, and no little blue pills necessary. I can be adventurous in that respect, but nothing overly kinky. Although I have a fitness club membership and go from time to time, I'm not a gym-rat but I do keep fit through various outdoor activities and a light home exercise routine. I have a keen interest in good nutrition. I rarely drink alcohol and then only one or two. I do enjoy 420 sometimes but only sourced from a legal regulated State for reaon of health, safety, and ethics. I don't do any drugs or hang out with party-people. Tobacco?: I do smoke 4 to 5 mini-cigars daily - outdoors.

I have an easygoing personality I like to think. I like to have a lot of music in my life and my tastes skew towards the old 70's rock and singer/songwriters (because I know all the words! lol) but I listen to a pretty wide variety of other music as well. My social circle is somewhat small and I prefer it that way. My politics are moderate and pragmatic, somewhat progressive, and Never-Trump (and I think it a shame I even have to say that, but nowadays? ... seems so.)

My dating intent is to find a life partner again someday. If you read the above you can proably parse out whether we might be compatible. Physically, my preferences tend toward slimmer body types and looking for someone also healthy as well as financially stable - someone who "has her own", so to speak. Other than that I'm open to different sorts of people.

I could consider someone farther away, but only if they have the means and freedom to travel as I do. Someone retired, semi-retired, or who is a remote worker would be ideal.

(Note: although I mentioned I am caucasian above ... a persons "race" is not an issue with me)
