What am I looking for?

I would like to find an activity pal 55 living within a 40-mile radius of McLean, Virginia who is interested in going out and about on adventures. I prefer someone who has a broad general knowledge, is curious about the whys and wherefores, and possesses a good sense of humour. Important: Must be free to go on outings at weekends.

What am I not looking for?

Not looking for a hook-up. Not interested in watching Netflix.

What are some of my interests?

Amateur radio, general aviation, industrial archaeology, the night sky, architecture, geology, museums, concerts, cookery, walking, horse racing, bird watching, the arts, battlefields and forts, English and early American history, and so on and so forth.
