After being intentionally single for over a year, I'm trying Reddit again to hopefully find the love connection I've always wanted and haven't fully found.
I don't just want someone who's sweet, gentle, kind and loyal. For me, that sweetness also comes from being a partner who's communicative, curious, respectful and emotionally vulnerable. I want a relationship that's mature and responsible, where we can celebrate our successes and help correct each other when we're lost. I don't want to waste my time on people that only want to be present during the good times.
Plus, there are still a lot of little romantic gestures and experiences that I've been dying to have, but still haven't yet in life. I want someone who wants to take cute couples pictures with, and give me compliments that aren't about my looks. I want a partner I can take downtown and snack on local fudge with, and make each other laugh while we walk through the park as the colors change or go on other little adventures, just happy to be present with each other. I could go on and on, but that's just what I have in mind for now. 😊
