Having some companionship for the holiday season would be a nice change of pace. With the weather getting cold, someone to cuddle and hug would bring some really nice warmth, maybe we can have some hot chocolate together. Most of the time you won't see me very social or extroverted with people, but if I get to know you, I tend to be pretty affectionate. More like gentle and patient. Still, I know what I want in life and I'm charismatic about that. Emotional connection is something that I haven't had in a while, at least not in person. Currently I'm single in every sense of the word, so even some platonic affection is very welcome! Let's take it easy and get to know each other, whether as friends or curious about more potential.

My interests are pretty all over the place. My usual focus is on psychology and philosophy, alongside cooking, music, and video games. You can imagine me as in love with futurism, AI, anything you can add the prefix cyber- to, and altering the human mind's interaction with reality. There is so much that I'm curious about though. Probably some kind of ADHD-level of needing constant mental stimulation. Discrete math, the lives of woodpeckers, archaeological mysteries, Greek myth. These are some things I explored recently. I've got so many books to read right now, both fiction and nonfiction. I've been pretty obsessed with Dune ever since the movie came out, along with a lot of other science fiction. Actually, I even write science fiction, more inspired by cyberpunk than interstellar space sci-fi (I started writing a book recently). I find that sci-fi is one genre that easily incorporates knowledge from so many distinct areas. Mostly I get really excited about cutting edge technology; I want to get involved with BCI research. You know, the technology where people can control devices with their brainwaves. Pursue a PhD in psychology as well, if I get accepted into a program for next fall.

My mind isn't always on technology. I love cooking, so I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving. Incidentally, I eat pretty healthy, but really just because I want variety. It would be really cool to share an interesting food with you, whether that's eating out or sharing recipes. Taking walks outside is very calming, in the same way that I enjoy meditation.

Music takes a constant presence in my life. I really like goth rock, especially from the eighties, but also classic rock, new wave, anything electronic, indie rock, The Smiths. Really curious about hip-hop, but then also so much more. Grimes is one modern artist that I'm pretty into. Oh yeah, also emo music, which shouldn't be surprising, given how I described my personality up top!
