Hi there,
I would like a creative buddy who encourages me to create and who will look at my work and give positive (as well as some constructive) feedback.
I'm a 27-year-old woman in Florida, USA, and I'm a blocked creative. I enjoy crafting with stickers and other physical crafts, as well as making websites with Squarespace. I would like to learn more about web design, graphic design, photography, videography...ugh, a lot.
I would like to make a blog, but a lot holds me back: insecurity, thinking no one will want to read or see what I read/create, an impatience to write without creating an outline or doing enough research...etc. I don't want to blog for money, I purely want to do it for fun, for a creative outlet, and possibly as a portfolio-builder. I work as a web editor and want to branch into more creative work in that area.
I just struggle to do it alone. I don't really have anyone else creative to show my work to or collaborate with or learn from. I'd like to "show the world" what I have to say and create, you know, create a successful blog in that way, but I suspect it wouldn't be as satisfying as having a friend see my work. Idk. I just struggle a lot and would like to see if having a buddy would help me.
If you're a creative person and would like a creative buddy, let me know.
