I'm a 34 year-old, college educated (psychology) bigger and taller African American (picture in profile, click my icon) who lives alone, has his own vehicle, and works hard in his career (mental health and substance abuse). I have a strong preference for kink, but if you're open-minded that's fine for the non-kink subreddits I post this in. Excuse the length, but this thread will be separated into the things I require and the things that don't matter as much, though some have circumstances. Any of them I'm willing to discuss, but they are non-negotiable in nearly all cases.

Things I require:

You being serious - If you're on the fence for what you want, are bored, unsure, fresh out of something, or still caught up on an ex, I'm not the one for you. Good luck on your search.

You to not want children - The ideal type of life I envision (we can discuss that if you make it through this post) doesn't involve children. I'm not the one for you if want them and I won't change my mind.

You to not use substances - I work in a position where I am in and out of court rooms often, and I work with people in recovery. Alcohol in amounts where you aren't drunk is the most I'll allow. No narcotics, scheduled drugs, marijuana (it doesn't help as much as people like to pretend, especially for mental health), addictive medications.

Strong and frequent communication - If you stop responding for hours, or it takes us more than a day to have a single conversation due to it taking too long between talking (outside of emergencies), I'm not the person for you. Also, I prefer voice over text if it's someone I'm interested in.

Varying degrees of conversations - I'm a funny guy despite the tone in this post, but I wanted to take this seriously. I enjoy a wide range of topics from psychology, mental health, true crime, politics, stocks, crypto, technology, gaming, comics, nerd stuff, etc. Or even how pineapple on pizza is a gateway to other fruits on pizza.

You to not be pet obsessed - Quite a bit of allergies for fur, so you are warned that it will be a firm 'no' in most cases despite my love for animals.

Monogamy, loyalty, honesty, and integrity - These are self-explanatory. Most people struggle with one relationship, so I can't imagine several, and I've tried.

Things that don't matter under the right circumstances:

Appearance, looks, weight - Obviously I have my preferences. I'm partial to a cute face, curves, and beautiful eye colors, but that nor other things matter to me enough to discount anyone. Personality and the things on this list matter to me much more.

Age - This doesn't matter if you are legal, have maturity, and some sort of actual experience in relationships. I will say that older than twenties tend to be more 'ready', but surprise me if you're truly confidant.

Location - This only matters if you don't have the means/interest to visit or eventually relocate. Also, in a timely manner. I'm not going to wait a year to see you in person, and there should be a routine and goal in mind.

Your income - I do well for myself, but I'd like someone with a work ethic and that works part time. I have bad habit of working tons of hours and I'd like to do better about that and also you should be able to afford travel and visits without breaking the bank. You don't need a career or full time job unless you want one. I'll gladly host once you're comfortable enough to stay with me, but you're the one approaching despite distance which is a bit more harder work than local.

Struggles with mental health - I'm qualified for this, so it doesn't bother me, nor do I think of you as a burden. You're a great person, even if you don't feel like yourself all the time. The only thing I request is that you're actively taking appropriate medications that don't fall under the things in the substance section above. If you need recommendations or a referral in central Florida, PLEASE let me know, I'm always willing to help.

That's pretty much it. No special word that needs to be used, but if something comes up that was addressed in the above information, I will block you and assume you haven't read this. Kinks and vanilla interests we can discuss if it gets to that!
