Hi Reddit!
Been feeling kinda lonely lately. I've made some great friends on Reddit in the past, thought I'd try my luck again. I'm looking for someone I can be excited to talk to throughout my day. I want to anticipate my buzzing phone. Snap you pictures of the beautiful places I hike. Commiserate about our days. Hop on a video call and chat or else just keep each other company. Share life advice.
About me:
Software engineer, though finding myself particularly unmotivated of late.
Outdoorsman. Primarily hiking/snowshoeing, but occassional skiier, camper, backpacker, and lover of star gazing
Gamer. Currently playing Overwatch, BOTW, and Outer Wilds. Almost exclusively console gaming. Love escape rooms and board games as well.
Been hitting up the gym once a week for maybe 6 months? Been enjoying it so far, hoping I can build it into a long term habit
Far left. Anticapitalist. Environmentalist. Vaccinated. Believer in science.
Traveler. I'm sure I'll bore you with stories from my 6 month backpacking trip.
Hoping to move to Western Europe one day, ideally Amsterdam
Amateur/wannabe chef. Let's swap recipes!
Passionate about economic and social justice. Would describe myself as thoughtful, honest, and intentional.
5'7", white, brown hair, hazel eyes, bearded, 180 lb
Have all the messaging apps
About you:
Can hold a conversation
Roughly my age, but certainly 18
Please send me a message about yourself. Be sure to include a picture or two and I'll return the favor
Would love to find someone in Seattle, but open to someone from anywhere
Can't wait to hear from you :)
P.S. Writing this was surprisingly difficult/nerve wracking. How do you encapsulate who you are and what you're looking for in a short enough message to not lose your reader's attention? Hope I did OK
Repost from yesterday. Trying again with proper tags
