Seems like a decent conversation starter, depending on your answer.
Anyway. I'm here looking for something serious. New friends are always great! Always welcome! Especially if you've got jokes, good memes and an awesome gif game up your sleeve. Which honestly are good qualities in my future s/o really. But ultimately yeah, I'm looking for my person. At this point in my life, I want to end up with someone long term, someone to build a life with. Someone who will look back with me and say "man, I'm glad we met and made it through" and not "damn, missed the mark again."
Location-wise, I'm in Southeast Pennsylvania and I'd prefer you were at least in the vicinity. I've done long distance before and I just don't think it's for me anymore. Physical touch, and quality time are my main love languages and you can only do so much when there are hundreds of miles between you.
I type/text how I talk/think so what you read is what you get. I'm a pretty open book but I'm terrible at describing how I'm feeling. I love to laugh and make others laugh and a good sense of humor will get you everywhere. I love playing board and card games, video games (even if I'm terribly casual and an inconsistent player) and reading webcomics. I have way too many apps for that these days.
I collect misfit toys/little buddies as I like to call them (the last guy on the shelf with the wonky eye will always come home with me) and books that I swear I'll get around to reading some day. I'm probably at like, 40% read which is terrible but I mean, I have to have them. It's just a requirement. I'd love to have an amazing home library/reading room some day. I don't necessarily go out of my way to watch sports but I can always be convinced. It would be super cool to go to a professional event some day too. Football, basketball, hockey. Hell probably even baseball. 😅 I have a competitive side and will absolutely shit talk with no foundation. That also translates into gaming. I know that isn't always everyone's cup of tea, but it's all in good fun. There's a difference between giving someone a hard time and being an outright asshole.
I work too many hours during the week as a banking operations manager for a fintech, but we recently switched to fully remote so I think that helps. Being able to work in my pj's is a perk. Plus with the price of gas these days, why not have an excuse to stay home. 🙄 That being said, another thing I love to do (for the hell of it and as a stress reliever) is go for random drives. I love to basically just get myself lost while I jam out to music and work my way back home. Pick a direction and go. Find new ways to old places.
My motto in the car for many years now has been "it's always an adventure" and I'd love to have someone new to share that with. You pick the turns, I'll just drive.
