It’s difficult, pifficult, lemon squificult :(
I’m hoping to make new friends on here, preferably in person. I’ve gotten into that weird routine where I just get up, go to work, go to bed, rinse, repeat. I haven’t had much human interaction outside of work since the pandemic started. Listening to music & eating in my car alone at an in-n-out parking lot has gotten real old.
A bit about me: I work in the trades, I listen to any kind of rock music (classic, punk, reggae, ska, alternative, psychobilly, experimental/psychedelic) and love live shows/tribute bands, would love to start or join a board game group (haven’t played too many, but can pick up quickly & have started building my own collection) (also open to card games), I enjoy indie, competitive, & co-op video games, I can talk to you about anything, I like when people are open about themselves/their experiences. Everyone has their own unique stories that made them who they are today. You can vent/rant to me about whatever you want.
Some of my hot takes: no one actually likes boba, they just pretend they do bc everyone else says they like it. Garlic bread fucking sucks. Yeah, I said it!
Things we can do:
Go to comedy clubs
Go watch and judge movies together
Go on hikes/nature walks
Work out together? (I’ve gained a few rolls since lockdown)
Play video/board games
Cry together
Go to concerts/cool events
Go thrifting/flea market
Go to barcades
Get drunk at our local chili’s
If you made it this far & this post appeals to you, shoot me a message. Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be long and intricate. Low-maintenance friendships are ok with me bc I don’t really text anyway. We can chat on the phone before meeting if that makes it easier. Don’t care about race/gender/what you look like, etc.. but I’d prefer ages ~25 & older.
