With all the stuff that's been going on lately, both out in the world and in my personal world, the loneliness has been settling in something fierce. I do have a really close knit group of friends, and I love them to death, but I'm definitely the weird one out of the group and our interests and schedules don't really match up too often.

To start, a lot of my hobbies, as well as my career, revolve around the general idea of building something. I fix computers for a living, and while that's a mountain and a half thanks to things far outside of my control, I do enjoy the work, though it's very clear that it's time for a switch.

Related to that, I recently dove headfirst into custom mechanical keyboards, so now I'm extra obnoxious, both because I won't shut up about it, and clackclackclackclack! I'm also a musician, but lack of energy, because of the aforementioned mountain, has dropped a rather large creative block on my head, just when I was making really good progress too. Creative writing is really fun too.

I love making people laugh! My sense of humor is a bit strange sometimes, though, ranging from dry and flat, to just plain dumb, and the occasional Homestar Runner reference.

Just a small selection of what goes on in my head and day-to-day. Really, I'm not looking for anything super serious, just someone new to get excited to talk with regularly. I'd like to have more girl friends - with a space in the middle, girl that is friend - because I am surrounded by other guys all the time, but I realize that's a tall order sometimes, particularly in this sort of online environment. Speaking of environment, I'd much prefer someone at least somewhat local so there could possibly be the eventual idea of meeting face to face without too much hassle.
