So I was watching this reaction video on YouTube of these girls reacting to breaking bad (spoiler) hanks death and so I’m watching these two girls who are just balling their eyes out and I remember when I first watched the show I was cheering I was like “Hell yeah! I hate frank!” and as the video went on I explored the comment section to which I see a comment saying the following, “if you feel bad for Walter you’ve been emotionally manipulated by him.” Which begs the question, (yes, Iets pretend I’m in a college philosophy course) so my question or rather questions are, “in situations of shows and movies do my feelings about a manipulative character mean that I, as a human am easily manipulated? Am I the manipulator in my life?” I can see Walts need and drive to want to provide for his family. Is this a “I’ve been caged for so long in my life I’m gonna let my hair flow in the wind,” or as others like to say a midlife crisis?” Side note: Sorry about the horrible grammar, I hope you’re able to understand. PS: Also this question sent me into a downward spiral of letting kids rebel while they’re young because after a while of being so good they’ll wanna shake their ass on a yacht… ya know? Not that it’s a bad thing but shaking ass and committing a crime because of your age can just fuck you up? I hope I made sense.
