Hello Internet, I'm Scott, nice to meet ya! I'm a heteroflexible, kinky, single, Michigan-born, Denver-dwelling dude with no kids who's working on building a new life in a new(ish) town, and I'm looking for the next piece to my puzzle! I moved here just before COVID nope'd the whole world down, and while it's been incredible to explore the mountains and start setting down new roots, it turns out that meeting new people and making friends is pretty tough in your 30's, and slightly more so when there's a global pandemic going on. Who'd have thought? 😋 Fortunately, that's given me plenty of opportunities to do a ton of work on myself both mentally and physically, and I think I've seen enough dividends to finally put myself back out there a bit!

So, who's the internet rando behind the post? Well, I've got an established career doing software engineering in the tech industry, and split my weekends between getting outside to soak up the majesty of the mountains (took that at Lake Isabella yesterday!) and seeing to the demands of the fearsome despot that thinks he runs the place (his name is Max and he's a fucking gem). My hobbies lean towards the nerdy - books, board games, D&D, PC gaming, cooking, cinema, science, psychology, philosophy, etc. - a tendency that's driven by my inquisitive nature and ceaseless appetite for learning. I lean extroverted and love a good night out on the town with friends, but the real way to my heart is an intimate night of cuddles and connection with some passion sprinkled in. Physically speaking I'm 6'1" with a dad bod that I'm actively working on, but if history's anything to go by my smile's more likely to catch your eye. I put real effort into being open-minded and empathetic to everyone I meet, and if politics are important my views lean pretty well to the left (though I'm not militant about stuff). I've got a few years of experience in the worlds of kink and poly, and while I'm never done learning, I'd like to think that I have a pretty good handle on the concepts of consent, communication, equality, empathy, and safety as they pertain to both. I don't smoke cigarettes but enjoy cannabis edibles and concentrates, and otherwise I'm DDF and have the tests to show it.

So, how's that for an attempt to summarize a human up in a single paragraph?? So, what's this human looking for? In short, a connection with someone local that can grow into a serious, monogamous relationship that blossoms into a long term commitment, and eventually polysexuality and/or polyamory once we're established and secure enough in our relationship for those lifestyles. For me, attraction is a combination of both mental and physical aspects. Things that attract me mentally are empathy, compassion, confidence, spunk, self-awareness, and gumption. Physically I tend to be more attracted to proportionate, athletic, and somewhat curvy builds, but as someone on a fitness journey myself, I'm happy to consider relationships with anyone on that road as well, regardless of where they are on it! I'm open to friendships and FWB situations with local people (emphasis on the 'F'), but if you're the kind of person who treats people or relationships as disposable, I'm not your type and you're not mine so please just move along.
