Hello, Reddit! I'm back once more on this lazy thursday evening to find... somebody. Maybe a soulmate, maybe a new best friend, maybe just somebody to send dank memes to when I get bored. Well, whoever you are, I'd love to skip the boring small talk and go straight to the part where we hop on a voice chat and really get to know each other!
So a bit about me, well, I'm 26, from the UK and I'm currently in my final year of a computer science degree. It's a lot of fun and I'm hoping to do a masters up in Scotland next year (So if you're from Edinburgh, let me know, I'd love to hear a bit about the city). As you can probably tell from my choice of study, I'm a bit of a nerd. When I'm not programming and pulling my hair out due to missing a semicolon, I'm reading (I've recently been reading quite a bit of Brandon Sanderson's books and really need somebody to nerd out with about The Stormlight Archive), writing, cooking (sometimes baking, I can make a crumble that'll knock your socks off), playing video games/ board games and I've been getting into D&D a lot more recently.
As for my tastes in music, I'm a bit of a metalhead, a few of my favourite bands are Sabaton, Gloryhammer, Beast in Black, Brothers of Metal and Unleash the Archers. I'm a sucker for anything cheesy or with a female lead singer so if you have any suggestions, send them my way! I enjoy almost everything to some degree though, I'm definitely at home listening to Radio 1 although it probably wouldn't be my first choice of station.
Hopefully you share at least one of my interests (bonus points if you're a PC gamer, I could use some new people to play games with) but even if you're not, I'd still love to hear from you. I'm always open to new things and I love hearing about other people's hobbies whether it's woodworking, cat breeding or collecting misprinted Bulgarian stamps.
