Hello, Reddit! It's yet another depressing wednesday evening with only my Steam library for company. As fun as starting yet another game of Stellaris is, it's no substitute for hanging out with real people. So, that's why I'm here, to find an awesome person to be my new best friend! Or at least somebody I can send dank memes to when I'm bored.
So a bit about me, well, I'm 25, from the UK and I'm currently in my final year of a computer science degree. Everything going online didn't affect my course as much as it did others but it's still far worse than actually being allowed to go to lectures on campus. As you can probably tell from my choice of study, I'm a bit of a nerd. When I'm not programming and pulling my hair out due to missing a semicolon, I'm playing video games, playing board games (if I can actually find people to play them with that is), reading (I recently started Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere books and really need somebody to nerd out with), writing, cooking (sometimes baking) and I've recently got back into D&D after way too long of a break. My music tastes vary, I tend to like almost everything but my favourite genres are Metal and 80s rock. You just can't beat a bit of Sabaton or ACDC!
Hopefully you share at least one of my interests (bonus points if you're a PC gamer, I could use some new people to play games with) but even if you're not, I'd still love to hear from you. I'm always open to new things and I love hearing about other people's hobbies whether it's woodworking, cat breeding or collecting misprinted Bulgarian stamps.
