This pandemic is driving me crazier than usual, as I'm sure it is everyone. I'm usually fine staying in, doinf my own thing, playing the introvert, but even that has a limit. Making friends and dating as an adult is difficult, but during this pandemic it feels impossible.
I'm a 30 year old male, just got my master's in English and working as a freelance journalist. From New Orleans, Louisiana. Published writer a few times and working on some more fiction. I'm a big geek, gamer, graphic novel reader, sci-fi/fantasy lover. Playing a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 lately, and despite it's faults I'm loving it, though I usually prefer third person shooters like Mass Effect. Lately I'm rewatching Doctor Who and re-reading The Expanse series. Big MCU nerd and loving WandaVision, though it's no Mandalorian. Hoping the world finds a new normal and I can go back to conventions and doing bery amateur cosplay.
I've been single a little over a year. I'm looking for a romantic partner, but a partner is the important part of that. I want someone to really connect with and build a relationship with. I don't want to rush into anything and right now just want to meet and chat with new people.
I'd prefer to chat and meet someone else from the Greater New Orleans Area but I'm open to speaking with anyone from anywhere.
