How witty of a title do I need to cut through all the other posts of lonely people on new years eve. I came into 2020 single and ready to mingle but thanks to Covid there has been no mingling of any kind and I am still very much single so this years resolution is to change all that.

I'm a young Professional guy working in the UK which nowadays sounds a pretty unwise choice of location but alas I'm not able to simple move to somewhere where they handle things sensibly. I'm mixed race, pretty tall (6'2"), all around positive person i like exploring, wandering cities to find cool spots like exhibitions or hidden coffee shops and getting out into the world to find ancient secrets not meant for mortal men. I absolutely love science and space, learning all about it. A lifelong dream of mine is to someday see it all for myself and to live on another planet or moon, achievable I know, I work in the IT sector so I'm a bit of a computer nerd I built my own pc and love tinkering with tech I fix all my own issues and if you trust me enough to hand me your electronics I'll happily fix those too. When I finally buy a house (at around the age of 65 by the state of the housing market) I want to have an electronics workshop where I can build and repair more advanced devices. I like to watch films, TV, trying to read more books, I really enjoyed the marvel films but kind of feeling checked out since endgame came out. I am very into politics and lean hard to the left, Happy to discuss anything even if its controversial. I've spent a lot of the year playing games and talking to friends over discord. I'm not a super competitive person I'm in it for the stories and the fun I like sandbox style games a lot like Stellaris.

Well that was quite the wall of text wasn't it? After all that I bet your wondering if you're the right person for this total catch (and honestly who wouldn't?) Well I'd prefer that you 1. Be alive 2. Also single, or in some kind of open arrangement; really don't want to start my year off with being a witness in a divorce hearing. 3. Female; cis, trans, femme nonbinary people are all valid here 4. Physical; I consider myself somewhat attractive and would prefer you to be too, though there are many types of beauty in all shapes and sizes I don't mind what height, weight, ethnicity or anything you are. I'd like to know a little about you and I would be comfortable exchanging pictures after getting to know each other. 5. Communicative; i have spoken to some people on here who barely reply beyond a single word. It isn't easy keeping a conversation going with that kind of feedback. Please put in what you expect back and I will do the same.

After all that if you are still reading I think you might be the right stuff ;) and you should definitely message me include the word Velvet in the subject or first message so I know you've read my intro and tell me what you'd rather be doing tonight, don't be shy, or if you still lead an interesting life what you are actually doing!
