hello Reddit (again); my name is averi, I’m 20 years old, i reside in Florida (more specifically central), and i never learned how to drive due to mental instability plus some other things as well.

i am currently in college where i’m almost finished with my general associates in the arts so i can transfer to a (somewhat) local college to pursue a degree and hopefully a career that involves helping children with mental health problems that might or might not be apparent to them yet since i never got that help when i was a child..

some of my hobbies/interests are listed below and i hope that you take interest in them since i think they’re pretty mundane

1. Video games: I primarily play on the Nintendo Switch Lite where my recent obsession has been Animal Crossing; New Horizons so finding someone who also plays this addictive game is a plus but I also recently got my hands on Let’s Go Pikachu, Stardew Valley, and just yesterday I bought Skyrim so some advice/help with those games will also be greatly appreciated!

2. Music: I listen to pretty much a variety of music (like everyone on here says) but I often listen to more “popular” tunes off of certain genres. Some bands/artists I enjoy are Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers, My Chemical Romance, Twenty Øne Pilots, Queen, Elton John, and many others. However, I have been trying to get into some Pink Floyd since someone close to me enjoys their music a lot and such.

3. Writing: I try to write in my journal as often as I can but life and my brain distract me a lotta when it comes to doing daily things though I am a planned out person (to an extent). I also have penpals that I write to as well which is fun all in itself! If I could describe my writing, I would probably describe it more as memoir-esque and stuff you’d read in a personal blog per se. I haven’t been that great at writing creative fiction since middle school since my brain is permanently blocked from writing things that aren’t nonfiction/opinion based or memoir like.

4. Politics: When it comes to things such as politics, I am what most call a “libtard” since most of my views are left leaning and stray far from what is considered “conservative” or right-winged. To put it simply, I don’t like Trump all that much and Biden wasn’t my first choice but he was the most rational choice at the time of the election.

5. Movies: I definitely enjoy watching films whether they be animated “kids’” movies like Trolls: World Tour or action packed and emotional like the Marvel movies (RIP Tony) or even beautifully made to the point of deserving more awards than it actually received like Joker (I can go into whole spiels about how much I enjoyed Joker, don’t test me). I just really enjoy movies..
