I'll start with the friend stuff first because I'm at a friend-making subreddit. I know, mind-blowing stuff. But if you're only interested in the idea of writing partners, I'll make it obvious where you can start reading that.

As the title suggests, I do like writing a lot. I used to read a lot, but there's a lot of distraction lately, so it's not as much as before anymore. I read a lot of Chinese novels in my country, I read English novels such as the Six of Crows duology (my fav).

I am a HUGE fan of manga and anime, though mostly manga. I read manga pretty much everyday lol, while anime, I only really pick up popular shows or adaptions or my favorite manga. Examples of manga include Kaguya: Love is War, Undead Unluck, Mashle: Magic and Muscle (if you love Harry Potter and One Punch Man, this is the best thing you'll ever read), One Piece, Yotsuba!, Tsugumomo (it's NSFW, but good god the fight scenes are probably the most beautiful I've read in a manga), HunterxHunter, Spirit Circle, and many more.

As for anime, Mob Psycho 100 is my favorite anime of all time. I highly recommend Deca-Dence and Id: Invaded. There are also popular shows like Fire Force, My Hero Academia, Tower of God, Slime Isekai, etc.

I play PC games, mostly open-world games. I used to play Destiny 2, but now I'm hooked on No Man Sky cuz the new update just came out. I played Far Cry, Nier Automata, Hyper Light Drifter, Undertale, Fallout 4 and New Vegas, MGSV, Outer Worlds, and many more.

I'm a psychology student that quite enjoys philosophy. I certainly do love talking about everything I mentioned above. Nothing beats an enriching and awesome discussions. I like music a lot, though nowadays I'm more towards Japanese music and vocaless music (especially game soundtracks). WRITING PARTNER SECTION

I'll start with what my story is about first. Because if you aren't interested in that, then there's no point to read anything else in this section.

My story is set in an alternate modern Malaysia where myths and magics are real! The story focuses on two main characters, a young elf who has inherited a unique art of exorcism inherited from their non-blood-related human grandmother and their caretaker who took care of them after their grandmother died. Both of them run a shop called 梦想的花园/The Flower of Dreams that sells not only antiques, and not only magic items, but also exorcism services. (The story is in English btw)

How I approach this story is also heavily influenced by lots of shounen/slice-of-life manga. Imagine Flying Witch mixed with The Ancient Magus Bride. Or Yotsuba if you read that before. Or Ghibli movies. The framework of the story would also most likely follow a manga's story beats - self-contained stories that introduce something new that may or may not have something building up in the background that leads to a larger arc.

I’m looking for someone who knows their way around worldbuilding and writing (and preferably good with English). By the way, the story’s gonna touch on LGBT and racism stuff, so if that’s not on your plate, that’s fine. If you wanna know how I write, I will give you a link to my first chapter. Then, you'll know if I'm worth your time.

The partnership goes like this: It can be a 50/50 partnership or a 100/0 partnership. For the 50/50, I will help you with your story. We'll help each other analyze story elements and provide critical assessments. We can also offer advice or original ideas for each of our works. I can only help with mainly sci-fi and fantasy stuff, so things like horror and romance are not in my book. This can be further discussed.

Or you don't have a story but is interested to help, that'll be the 100/0 partnership. Maybe you don't really need help with your own story, or you're really interested in my story, and you wanna put a piece of our soul (figuratively) into this work. That's great too!
