So, I have posted here a few times in the past, and they all didn't yield much. Hey, that's the risk of the game, so I roll with it.

I often find it hard to exactly write and sell myself to people. I just think I fare better as someone to chat with and the more ya learn, the better I become. At least, that's how it has seemed to pan out for me in the past.

However, I also realize that I am not entirely sure what I want in someone either. So, in this long ass post, I intend to lay out both as best as I can--for both our sake.

First, a bit about me. I'm from Florida, I am 21 years old, and my name is Chris. Currently, I work for Amazon part time and I attend university. I'm studying history and philosophy, along with a certificate in German. I live with my mother and brother because my mother said that education should be my primary job, but i am trying to save up to move when I graduate so I can shift some of the burden off of her.

Hobbies: I like video games, reading, watching YouTube, talking, and music. For video games, I mostly play games like Total War and Civilization. I also play minecraft, red dead redemption 2, and just got no man's sky and gonna try that out. Clearly that isn't all I play, but its a good summary. For reading it is mostly history and philosophy (shocker, I know), and mythology and the classics. Admittedly, I've fallen behind on reading, but I'm trying to get back into the saddle. For YouTube, the channels are too varied to list (besides, a little mystery never hurts to entice people). Talking is kinda self explanatory I think. And now for music. I can kinda, sorta, maybe play guitar and bass, I also play the tuba (been years, but i still remember it--thanks band!). I do listen to a lot of genres, but my prevailing preferences are rock and metal music. I don't think I'm pretnetious with it though. I'll go from ABBA to Alestorm, to Jethro Tull, and finish off with Lil Pump, music is music.

The deeper stuff of personal backstory and other intimate details I'd rather keep in private chat.

Now onto you, woman who is still reading this somehow (thanks btw). I am not too picky really. I think the one reason I say "kinda gothy" in the title is because I vibe with girls kinda in that area more. That or meme girls I guess. I want someone who is down to chat kind often, not afraid to speak her mind (but not proud of being a jackass or whatever), smart, and doesn't mind some messed up humor. Also, the goth look is attractive but that is just icing on a cake and not an exclusive criteria.

Now for some lines in the sand, since we all have them. I am a straight edge guy, but I don't mind people who drink, smoking though, not a big fan. That goes for cigarettes, vapes, or pot. Now, if you are reading this and think "damn, guess I won't text", I'm not expressly saying to GTFO, just that I really don't like that stuff. Edibles I don't mind people using, its just the smell that gets me. If you really think we'd click though, text me and we will discuss it as time goes on. The next thing would probably be tattoos and piercings. I suppose my big thing is that I don't find a bdoy totally covered in tattoos attractive. Same with piercings. Some tattoos are piercings are fine, even really hot, it just depends. But if you're like decked out from your face or neck down to your legs, yeah that isn't a thing for me tbh. I suppose the last thing is that I want someone who is tolerant ideology wise. I don't mind if i have a right or left wing girlfriend, just don't be a preachy asshole. I click with people all along the political spectrum, I understand people with different views, i just want the same treatment.

So, if you made it this far, you're a damn trooper. I really am blown away. One last thing, instead of messaging just a hey or whatever, I want ya to message what was the part that made ya think: "yeah, I'm gonna text him". I hope to hear from someone soon.
