Well you could probably tell what my dating experience has been like from the title. I really tried avoiding using apps for the longest time, until my friends pushed me into "putting myself out there". Now I regret ever doing that because I spent months with barely any meaningful connections being made.

ANYWAY, I live near San Diego and have recently graduated college. I like video games but unfortunately the types of video games I play aren't exactly mainstream. I play games like Elite Dangerous and hearts of Iron. I also play other things like Minecraft occasionally and Civ 6. Plus many other games, I like trying new stuff every once in a while. I have never really liked games like LOL or Overwatch, they just didn't appeal to me. I used to be really into FPS games but I sorta lost interest in recent years. Also I play on PC even though I have access to a PS4.

I REALLY like music. I tend to have an open mind when it comes to music but I don't usually like any of the mainstream stuff. Artists that I really like and enjoy include but are not limited to: Porter Robinson(can't wait for that new album), Madeon, ODESZA, Mat Zo, Chrome Sparks, Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Haywyre and Flume many more. You get the general idea. I love all of these artists but Porter and Madeon specifically are just two of the best artists ever.(personal opinion)

Uhh as far as movies and things, I love Star Wars, Harry Potter and pretty much anything that is Sci-fi, star trek is also cool. I especially like movie that are about things like first contact or space exploration, such as Interstellar, 2001:ASO and Arrival, some of the best movies ever made IMO. I also like unique movies that tend to separate themselves from the rest of cinema in how they are made, such as Dunkirk and Scott Pilgrim Vs the world. As far as shows go I really like dark type stuff too, like Mindhunter(Netflix) or Dark(Netflix). I also like other less dark shows such as Sherlock(BBC). I like alot of stuff and theres just too many to mention here. Rick and Morty is cool too. I really like all sorts of animated shows, tried to get into anime at one point but never really got too into it. I only like a handful of anime shows.

As mentioned earlier, I graduated college this year and have had every single plan i had for postgrad stuff ruined by covid, not to mention travel plans that were also ruined. I have been forced to review everything I had planned and I am now simply seeking employment so that I can sustain myself for a year or two until things get back to normal (hopefully). After this I will go back to get a masters degree in my field ( whats my field you ask? i could put it here but it sounds like a good convo starter).

I don't know if this is enough, I would really like to meet someone with similar interests. I would like it if someone would just take a chance and get to know me first, before they just judge me from a couple of pictures and a small bio (I really hate dating apps now).

Sooo if I sound like someone you would like to get to know, let me know. Also this is my first time posting on here, so if you have good feedback on what I should have included or what I shouldn't have included, that would also be helpful.
