So we made it to phase 3. It was bizarre seeing people sitting outside to eat the other day - it took me back to a different time. The weather's really nice, and there's quite a lot of outdoor places where I'm from. Now I just need to find someone who wants to go with me. I was in a relationship right before this whole thing started, and now I'm single. Not looking for anything serious right now, but also not looking for just a one night stand.
After 28 years I still find it difficult to describe myself, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. I'm average height, average build, average weight, blue eyes, brown hair, clean shaven, no tattoos or piercings. I like to play video games, watch movies, and listen to music. Big surprise, I know. I can be outgoing but I definitely lean closer to introvert status. I recently moved to the northwest suburbs, but I have a car and am only about half an hour from Lakeview if the traffic isn't bad, so I can travel. Also am living on my own now (no roommate), so it's definitely made things harder not being able to really go out and do anything until now.
The most difficult thing about these is getting the conversation started, so I'm going to offer up three icebreakers.
- What are some cool outdoor restaurants you like and have been meaning to go before quarantine?
- What's a cool subreddit you like that I probably don't know about?
- What upcoming game/movie/album are you most looking forward to?
