Ahoy there. :) Hope you are well.
I'm a 31-year-old guy from Copenhagen, Denmark, and would love to meet some new people (probably not in person yet, but pending how this whole lockdown goes maybe at some point!).
I'd love to get a date out of this (hence the M4F in my title), but I'm totally okay with you writing me a message no matter who you are - be you looking for dating, friendship or just a conversation. :) I love talking to people, and especially if you put a bit of effort into your messages, I will try to do the same.
A bit of info about me:
I'm a bit of a nerdy fellow in general. Have a Master's degree in computer science, work as a software developer, spend a good chunk of time on my computer. I'm also a bit on the autism spectrum, but don't let that scare you off - I'm a nice enough guy, even if I get a bit stressed out or confused by new things or people at times. :)
I quite enjoy audiobooks and going for long walks while listening to them, even though I must admit I'm not as good about getting it done these days, what with the whole lockdown thing and all. But I hope to return to it as things normalize more. I tend to mainly listen to non-fiction, and among the books I've listened to recently are "Why We Sleep" by Matthew Walker, "Talking to Strangers" by Malcolm Gladwell, and the last book I finished was "The Sense of Style" by Steven Pinker. (Though, I must admit, it probably isn't the book most suited for being an audiobook.)
I also like to play video games. I'm not a super hardcore gamer or anything, but I do play games a fair bit. I also enjoy watching other people play the sorts of games I'm not super good at playing myself. :) These days, I'm playing a good bit of Oxygen Not Included, Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Switch (without timetravelling, of course), Shards of Infinity (a deck-building card game á la Ascension and Star Realms), and - of all things - Pixel Puzzles Ultimate, a jigsaw-puzzle-game. I quite enjoy social games also, so I'm liable to suggest playing a bit of Jackbox when at parties with friends, and if not, maybe a board game. :)
Some friends recently roped me into their roleplaying group, so I'm trying to learn stuff about that. :) I've always had a lot of friends who play, but I get a bit stressed out about that sort of thing, so I've avoided it until now. We started out playing a one-shot of Zweihänder, and have just finished a one-shot of D&D 5e. So, I've been binging videos by Matt Colville and such recently, to learn as much as I can about D&D. Now it would appear we're moving on to Numenera or Stars Without Number, which I know very little about.
I quite enjoy musical theatre (and theatre in general), so some friends and I somewhat frequently go to watch musicals. These days, we try to follow "The Shows Must Go On!" on YouTube.
Aside from this, some of my other interests include cooking, fountain pens, Rubik's cubes, electronics, mathematics, and probably more things that I've forgotten.
I'm pretty hard to offend, so if you have something you'd like to ask about, feel free to do so. I'm very much an open book in that regard.
I will warn you that I may be a bit slow to reply - so please don't take that as me not being interested in talking to you. It's just one of those things that might take a while sometimes, depending on how much energy I have in the rest of my life.
So, if that sounds interesting to you, hit me up with a message! I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. :)
