Sup Nerds! First and foremost I think I should say that after posting last year, I'm not looking for a pen pal. If you're not located within 100km of Edmonton, there is a pretty low chance we'll cross paths as regularly as I'm looking for. I bet your awesome, but I sometimes have trouble keeping up with the friends I already have, let alone making new ones around the world.

Next I guess I should say, I'm tall. 6 foot 9. I don't play basketball. I don't play Volleyball. The weather up here is fine. I should mention that while I AM tall, I don't LOOK tall unless you're standing right next to me. the most common guess is 6'4 because I sometimes slouch down a bit or widen my stance so I look a little shorter, but I do have plenty of scuffs from hitting my bald head on door frames (I'm usually pretty good about ducking). Regarding my looks, I've been told by more than just my mother that I'm handsome. Bald. Beard. Dimples. and 'expressive' eyes. I'm carrying a couple extra pounds, but I'm rectifying that at the gym and in the kitchen right now. and it's seriously just a couple extra. people look at me funny when I tell them I'm going to lose weight.

As a bartender, I've worked for 15 years in several different countries. I'm good at it. I enjoy it. Some look down on the job as not a 'real' job, but do what makes you happy. Bartending has taken me to live in New Zealand (early 20s) and Ireland (late 20s) and afforded me many other instances to travel (Cuba, Germany/Europe, to name some of the more recent). But it does make for odd hours that can be difficult for some people.

While I have been an internet celebrity a few times, I've never really looked to capitalize on the fame by starting a youtube channel/blog/podcast. while I think it would be fun, I have a hard time thinking anyone would be REALLY interested in stuff I have to say. As far as WHAT made me famous for 15 minutes (a few times)

The time I drunkenly made a business.

The time I made fun of a bunch of racists.

and a few other things that I don't care to dig up, but were also super fun.

So what do I want? Well that's always the million dollar question, right? the last relationship I was in was the most stable one of my life. We both really respected eachother and she was a great partner and through being together, I learned more about love and being in a relationship. We parted ways because I truly do not want to have kids, and she ultimately would want them. We can't fault each other for that, so we left on good terms. While, I'm not necessarily looking to jump right into another long term relationship, I like to leave the door open for that possibility. I don't mind casual dating, and am open to many possibilities as long as there is enough communication and everyone is on the same path.

Relationships, even casual ones, shouldn't be a battle between 2 people. Fights, or disagreements should always be 2 people vs the problem, not 2 people vs each other.

Fun activities could be a number of different things. Pub trivia is a personal favorite of mine. Coffee. Escape rooms. Binge The Office. Dinner. Movie. Laser Tag. Karaoke. Wander around the Zoo. lots of great options.

Who is my type? I've dated 10 years in either direction comfortably. I like confidence, and someone that not only knows what they want, but what they want to be doing in life. you don't have to BE there, just be ON YOUR WAY. Prefer non smokers. I don't really judge on drug use (this industry you see it all!) but daily use might be a bit much for me. Race doesn't matter to me, but I've always dated slimmer women and typically average or a bit on the tall side for height, but don't be afraid to message me if don't hit every single thing here.

Again, I'm not really looking for a penpal, and I'd love to go out on a few dates to see what happens.
