Okay, I’m not sure if reddit is the “right place”, but there are so many awesome people on here so why not let it be a “right place”? :)

After a period of time where I didn’t really know what I wanted, I’ve now come to the point where I definitely know what I want! To find love! Or well, to find someone to become close to and let everything run its course. I am hoping to find my perfect match for an amazing relationship 😊

Since a few months I now work in IT. Or well, I will soon, since I’ll start with a new job in a few weeks. Before this I studied psychology, so I made quite the switch. I studied Environmental Psychology for a while, but I discovered that I didn’t want to work in the field. I have always liked anything to do with computers and technology, so I’m pretty excited that I made the switch to IT! :)

What I’m like:

I would say I’m pretty much average in a lot of things. Sometimes I’m an introvert, sometimes an extravert. One time I can be out-going and enthusiastic, other times I can be more reserved. One day I want to chill on the couch, the next day I want to go out and do stuff. I love travelling and exploring new places, though I really prefer to do that with someone else (or with a small group). I occasionally like craftsy stuff or to tinker with things, like trying to build a smart mirror or setting up a timelapse camera for my newly planted sunflower.

On the inside I’m soft and caring, empathic, and very loyal to my friends. I love cuddling and I love to give someone my full attention. I like really getting to know someone and I’ll be there for the people I know well. I’m an optimistic and open-minded person. I have my opinions, but I’m usually open to listen and consider other opinions as well. Sometimes I can be a little stubborn though, especially when I think I’m right. I can be very silly but I know when to be serious/deep too!

On the outside I’m not very tall, being 1.78m. I’m pretty thin and I’m working on getting more fit. I love swimming and I’m trying to get running in my regular schedule again. My eyes are bright blue and I’ve heard people say they like them :). If you want to see for yourself, here’s what I look like. (I don’t really like being on pictures, so I don’t have the most amazing photos of myself.)

What I like:

• Video games – most Zelda games, Animal Crossing, Ace Attorney series, and some healthy competitive ones such as Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros

• Board games – my favorite being Whitechapel

• TV shows – La Casa de Papel, Black Mirror, Steins;Gate

• Movies – Mr. Nobody, Marvel movies. I love mysterious movies!

• Cats – I’m looking to get a cat, but since I live in an apartment and I want cats to be able to go outside if they want, I’m pretty much looking for an old (rescue) cat I can adopt that has not been outside their whole life. (Un)fortunately they aren’t available that much in my area.

• Trying out new things. I recently bought a ukulele to learn to play it. It’s not going super well, but I do like it from time to time.

What I’m looking for:

I’d love to find someone with some interests in common, or a similar type of person as me. Someone with a similar sense of humor, who loves to send and receive stupid shit you find across the internet.

Hopefully someone relatively close. I live all the way up North in the Netherlands (Groningen), but I’m fine meeting people in different parts of the country.

I’d love it if we could eventually explore some part of the world together, go on a city trip occasionally or longer trips to further destinations.
