In a book I read recently("Surrender" by Toni Bentley), the writer(who started ballet at an early age) claimed that there's a tight (sexual) link between ballet and masochism. In this book, she surprisingly argued that every ballerina has certain degree of masochistic(or submissive) side in her, it's nearly essential for practicing ballet, so there's high chance she enjoys submissive role in bed. (I don't know if that's true or not thoigh.)
So, if you used to practice ballet and wanna discuss this rather peculiar connection between ballet and masochism, please drop me a message.
about me: I'm working as a computer engineer, single male, am not particularly into ballet itself as an art.
