Here goes a long-winded post. I'll bold/italicize parts for easy skimming. I was supposed to have this crazy summer of German rock festivals and European travel. (Italy [actually happening] and Croatia [Still up in the air for June/July/Ultra in Split])

Instead I found out that I missed registration for Fall and now I will most likely need to return to San Francisco to get my affairs in order so I can try again next summer. But school will probably now take place in the Bay Area or Portland instead of Holland.

So ^{what brings me back to r4r}? I have met some interesting people that I still enjoy talking to and have been absolutely great on this summer European tour. I would like to be ready for when I return to San Francisco. Not waste time. Not engage in awkward small talk with strangers while I venture around alone. I want to make this last summer before school fucking memorable.

^{Me in a nutshell} (I'm a complex nut, so this might take a bit to explain):

-I love being outside. Even when it is raining (and I don't believe in umbrellas).

-I laugh a lot. Loudly. I will more than likely make you feel like Dave Chappelle. Giggling also happens a lot. I'm pretty hard to offend and I have a good sense of humor. I have that easy-going California charm, I guess...

-I love to cook. Which means I like to enjoy my food. Which means I like throw-downs. Which means I also liked to be cooked for. Which means cooking parties are awesome. Which means I like phones to not be present at the table. Which means I like eye contact (not mid-bite, you weirdo).

-Going out and getting plastered is not my idea of fun anymore. I never "need" a drink anymore. If you can sport a smile and be engaging sober, awesome. So many brownie points right there. This doesn't mean that I won't go buy a bottle of Perrenial's beer of the season or buy a nice bottle of wine to have with dinner. But is getting drunk the endgame? No. No it is not for me. But I can be good company as long as you're respectful.

-Hiking, Bikram yoga, workouts so intense that I can't walk the next day, learning how to ride a bike without having to get all the way off to stop, driving up HW1, oyster shucking, laying on the beach, putting Sonoma Marin Cheese Company cheese on crackers, and watching people pour designs into my latte are some ideas of fun

-My life revolves around a 90lb dog (she's my bitch!)

-I love learning and doing new things. Dancing, rock climbing, pottery, welding, surfing, improv and swimming (not at the same time) are some things I'd like to get better at or learn.

-I love classic rock (Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Hendrix, The Eagles, is Hall and Oates considered classic rock?, Fleetwood Mac (with limited Stevie), and a ton of others, but you get the point), newer stuff (Radiohead, Maroon 5, Gorrilaz, System of a Down, Sia, etc) and you can catch me singing along and dancing pretty much always.

-I have tattoos. The most notable one that people like to point out is Tiny Riiiiiiiick.

-I like to people-watch (and make up stories), stare at the sky for what seems like an eternity, sketch what I see, pick museum exhibits apart (WITH MY EYES), eat at food-trucks, get angry at characters in** horror movies**, share my food, smile, make you smile and most of all... BE IN THE MOMENT.

-Someone with an open-mind that doesn't enjoy arguing or getting offended <sup>or triggered</sup>

-Someone who can teach me to surf, rock climb, and/or bike (not motorcycles)

-Someone who wants to get outside and explore

-Someone with a dog that wants to join me in dog-walking and frequents dog parks (or you can ride solo and we can share mine [she's cool, i swear])

-Someone going to Outside Lands who enjoys getting close to the stage and dancing

-A traveler, a story-teller and someone to just enjoy a mellow mood with.
