To the idea of dating someone from afar and seeing how that goes. Hello, how are you, how was your day? :) I'm 29, I live outside of Portland, OR and I work professionally as a nanny. I make decent money but I would ideally like to have a family before the age of 40 (planning to foster and hoping for foster to adopt), so this Fall I'm returning to school for an AAP in Med Lab Tech. :)
I should probably note that if you are into thin or even normally sized women, you'll be sadly disappointed to know that I, while amazingly awesome and cool as a girlfriend, am extremely overweight and transitioning to a healthier lifestyle due to this fact. ;) I could probably be a solid 7 if I wasn't fat, though? Maybe? .. Idk. I've lost 18lbs since finding out I had diabetes, so that's a start in the right direction. :)
I'm interested in so much stuff it is a bit overwhelming to think about; I love the ocean, almost any animal that isn't slimy (no maggots, no worms, no grubs plz!), reading, writing, my dogs, kids, the planet.
I'm into a lot of different kinds of music; Die Antwoord, The Beatles, independent/new Youtube artists, most rock/pop/alternative music, some country, opera, classical, etc.. I watch a lot of movies and shows but don't watch conventional television because I hate ads and think they are like the devil (shout out to Bill Hicks, kill yourself if you're in the ad business. ;P).
I'm fun, funny, giving and caring. I have a lot of personality and I'm loud/brash/sometimes a bit classless but all in good fun. I was born in upstate NY and I moved out here when I was 13 so I've lived the country kid lifestyle and the city kid lifestyle as well. I appreciate the city but am almost at a point where I'd love to live far outside of it and have a little farm going on.
Type 2 diabetic, I have Fibromyalgia (chronic pain condition), I'm bipolar (not the super crazy kind), I have PCOS so maybe can't have biological children (haven't yet..), allergic to latex (lol.. this sounds like a joke. D:), etc etc etc.
I am looking for a lasting connection and someone to connect with on more than just an internet level. I hate how impersonal the internet can be and how easily one can just stop responding to someone for an indefinite amount of time. Boo, hiss, blah blah blah.
If you are interested feel free to send me a message. :) It's almost dinner time and we're having meatloaf! :D
