Post Body

So, I just found out today at work why someone whom I used to consider my friend has been acting so strangely this past month or two. She's been telling everyone else about how terrible I am at my new position and how I'll never learn it. I already didn't have a whole lot of genuine trust in people to begin with, but this is just the cherry to top it off. I'd like it if I didn't find myself in situation after situation causing me to continue down this path I'm on though. Too much of something isn't a good thing. Especially when it's driving me to not have any emotions for other people at all. Is there anyone out there that can prove to me that there are still decent people out there in the world? I don't want to sit through someone trying to give me advice, or to drone on about my problems. I want a genuinely interesting conversation with someone. Thanks, all.

Edit: Folks, not to be rude, but when I say that I don't want advice and I don't want to drone on about the problem, I seriously mean that. Do not start a conversation off by breaking that simple rule. Give me something interesting.
