... a mystery to me.
What can I say about myself? Eh, I don't know for sure, but I know I'm big into weird things, weird music mostly. For example, I can easily put on an album that, to me, evokes images of staticy TVs tumbling over gigantic waterfalls, helicopters taking off, and near endless landslides and just zone out for a while as fuzzy noise pounds into my head. Of course, there are some more normal things floating around my music library.
Keeping with the theme, I'm a musician as well. If one were to be creepy and poke around my post history, they might find that I seem to play a large piece of furniture with strings on it designed to fill in the low end of a song. But, of course, since I don't know what I'm doing, I use a bunch of electronics on the floor to make my chunk of wood sound like a much smaller, higher chunk of wood with strings on it. Currently, I'm in a band that could be compared to Royal Blood, if Royal Blood had no vocals, was more hectic, and their frontman wore a skirt. I do also like to believe that I can make music on my own, mostly some kind of electronic-like stuff.
But what about the person behind the horrible noise? Well, at the moment, I'm trying to move on from one job to another, much less stressful, much less food service-y job. I do try my best to be friendly, but the reality of it is that I'm an awkward, semi-beardy sort who sometimes isn't too good with the talky wordy stuff. In the past, I've been described as intimidating, both in terms of my appearance and how I speak because big words, but deep down, beyond the cold outward exterior, I'd like little more than to be around someone I can openly talk about my day, talk a lot of harmless shit, be silly and stupid, and maybe even cuddle with.
For now, let's try something. Without leaving your immediate area, assuming you're in your home, reach out and grab an object that means something to you. Anything at all. Now that you've got it, I'd like to hear about how it makes you feel, or what kind of memories it conjures.
Have a good one!
